The Role:
This account director position focuses on crisis and issues management.
Core day to day tasks include:
* Working with senior management to provide client counsel to your client base
* Using social media to monitor clients' reputations and communicate key messages
* Build effective relationships with clients' key media and stakeholders
* Help manage the reactive press office function
* Work with other teams across the business to provide expertise as and when required
The Requirements :
As account director you will need to showcase the following:
* Past experience on handling crisis communications in the retail sector (ideally in food and drink)
* Flexibility to work with clients across the agency
* As an account director you will have the gravitas to build relationships with clients at senior level and provide sound, well-judged advice
* The issues and crisis team works with a variety of account teams dependent on the client, so as a member of it you must be an effective relationship-builder
* The ability to mobilise a wide variety of people to deliver appropriate, timely responses to the media and other key stakeholders.
